Itinerary in a nutshell:
Day 1-
Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway Station to Zuluk, a small beautiful village on rugged terrain of the Lower Himalayas, night stay in Zuluk

Day 2-
Start on the famous old silk route covering Thambi, a panoramic view of Mt. Kanchenjunga and a zig-zag road with 30 hairpin turns -> Nathang Valley, home to traditional yak herders with unmatched beauty and a home to many migratory birds -> Kupuk, brilliant spectacle of a serene lake amidst the mountains -> Baba Mandir, a reverred shrine dedicated to Baba Harbhajan, a martyr of the Indian Army -> Nathula Pass, one of the oldest and very famous trading border posts connecting Tibet and India -> Tsomgo Lake, a glacial lake surrounded by snow-covered steep mountains -> Gangtok with night stay in Gangtok

Day 3-
Tashi View Point, a sweeping view of snow-covered peaks of Mt. Kanchenjunga and panoramic views of Sikkim -> Kabi Lungchok, a spot amidst tall trees where the historical treaty of brotherhood between the Lepcha Chieftan-Thekung Tek and the Tibetan Chief Khye Bhumsa was signed -> Chungthang, a confluence of rivers Lachen chu and Lachung chu -> Lachen, great natural beauty with neatly sequenced alpine pastures, quaint monasteries and water streams gushing down from scenic valleys, night stay in Lachen

Day 4-
Thangu Valley, a unique combination of flora and fauna with few wooden houses and army camps -> Gurudongmar Lake, famous for its negative temperatures and a land of yaks and other high altitude animals of Sikkim and Tibet -> Lachen, night stay in Lachen

Day 5-
Travel to Lachung, local sight-seeing – Lachung Monastery, waterfalls, Mt. Katao, night stay in Lachung

Day 6-
Yumthang, known as the ‘Valley of Flowers’ having a breathtaking scenic beauty with unimaginable blend of flora, fauna and hot springs, Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary -> Zero point, in close proximity to the Indo-China border at an altitude of 15,300 feet above Mean Sea Level -> Gangtok, evening stroll at the famous MG Road, night stay in Gangtok

Day 7-
Local sightseeing in Gangtok covering Kyongnosla Alpine Sanctuary, Hanuman Tok, Ganesh Tok, Ranka/Enchey/Gonjang Monastery, Himalayan Zoological Park, Research Institute of Tibetology, Do-Drul Chorten Stupa, Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom, Flower Show, Banjhakri Falls, Seven Sisters Waterfall -> Darjeeling, night stay in Darjeeling

Day 8-
Tiger Hill, viewing sunrise over Kanchenjunga peak -> Ghoom Monastery -> Batasia Loop, a spiral railway to lower the gradient of ascent of the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway -> Local sightseeing in Darjeeling covering Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Ropeway, Tenzing and Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center, Tea Estate, Natural History Museum, Peace Pagoda, Toy train joy ride may be taken, night stay in Darjeeling
